Selective Laser Sintering often called SLS, is an ideal process for
creating large parts that require
strength and resistance to heat and chemicals. An SLS machine uses
a computer controlled laser to sinter (melt) a thermoplastic
powder, layer by layer, to create a three dimensional part. SLS is
very similar to the SLA prototyping process .When complex shapes
that closely resemble injection molded nylon partsare required.A
wide range of materials can be used to produce prototyp ,including
nylon and metals .
